Register now for the Annual TBA Convention
June 13-16 in Nashville

In 1882 Tennessee lawyers came together at this scenic Bon Aqua Springs resort in Hickman County for what would be the first annual meeting of the Tennessee Bar Association. Away from the summer heat and the daily pressures of their work, the meeting was a welcome relief and a chance to enjoy fellowship with other lawyers, develop the profession and take care of the business of the association.

Join us June 13 — 16 as we celebrate this 125-year-old tradition. Lawyers from across Tennessee will again leave behind the daily pressures of their practice — though today they’re likely to bring along their Blackberry devices — to network with other lawyers, hear compelling speakers, participate in interesting CLE programs and take care of TBA business. Also on tap, will be special 125th anniversary events and activities.

The Opening Reception on Wednesday evening.
The Bench/Bar CLE program featuring Duke Law School professor Erwin Chemerinsky.
The Bench/Bar Luncheon on Thursday featuring Vanderbilt Law School graduate, journalist and broadcaster Fred Graham.
A compelling 2-hour Ethics and Professionalism CLE Program on Thursday afternoon. You'll learn about the roles that lawyers have played in our state, the colorful figures in Tennessee law and their lasting impact on the profession and our society.
A dinner and reception Thursday evening at the Hermitage, home of President Andrew Jackson. This special event celebrating the TBA's 125 years of service to the Tennessee legal community will feature great food and great entertainment, plus tours of President Jackson's home and grounds.
The Lawyers Luncheon on Friday.
A useful 1-hour CLE Program on Friday afternoon giving an overview of how volunteer legal services are coordinated following a disaster and tips for responding to inquiries.

In addition to all of this, you can choose which other events and CLE programs you want to attend, and pay only for what you attend. You can also purchase additional tickets for your guests and, if you are not able to attend the entire convention, purchase tickets for individual events.

Part 8 - Cancellation information

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations received up until 4 p.m. Central time three days prior to the convention will receive a refund, less a $50 administrative fee. A substitute may attend for someone unable to do so. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after 4 p.m. two days before the convention or for "no shows." Note: In the unlikely event that there are not enough pre-registrants to justify the expense and time of speakers, this convention will be canceled by the TBA. If cancellation is necessary, all those who pre-register will be notified of the cancellation and complete refunds will be given.

NOTE
Materials: Publication of materials is based on the amount of advance registrations. It is possible that those who register on the day of the convention may not receive materials at the time of registration. Materials will be mailed upon request following the convention to those who may not otherwise receive them.

Priority Given to Pre-Registrants: Those who register in advance will be given priority on the days of the convention where seating and materials are concerned.
